Collaborative project at The Garage project space (now moved to new premises in The Launderette, Stokes Croft). This was an early approach to the open ended, discursive and collaborative approach to production we are developing through Laundry Projects.
The artists involved all share an interest in ecological precarity and complexity, and the challenge this poses for how we approach our practices. We worked with a cumulative process — like a game of consequences — to reflect on and share this exploration and its material outcomes.
Produced by Veronica Vickery with artists Helen Acklam, Katy Connor, Matt Davies, Laura Philips, Vicky Smith, Jack Young. The project culminated in an informal symposium over a meal with Leah Capaldi (UAL) as discussant.
