DIRK

THE RIVER DROWNED

With clay foraged from Purton Ships Graveyard and scrap boat steel.

Eastside Projects, 2024

DIRK is a friend's old Dutch barge that is now over a hundred years old. Slab-built narrowboats made from foraged Estuarine clay from Purton Ships Graveyard, fired in a DIY barrel kiln standing on a frame made from scrap steel from Dirk.
